HANG IT WITHOUT WRECKING THE WALL
- Measure at least 841 x 1189 mm of clear wall for true A0, then leave about 50 mm around the edges.
- Choose portrait or landscape before marking the corners. The calendar layout determines which orientation works.
- Use four binder clips on pins for easy removal, or removable poster strips on a clean, dry wall.
- Hang the centre near eye level so the upper and lower day boxes remain comfortable to reach.
- Test your pen in a quiet corner before filling the year. A fineliner, biro or pencil keeps small notes readable.
A0 OR ONE METRE SQUARE?
Pick A0 when the wall is narrow, vertical space is easy to find and your notes are brief. Pick the one-metre square when seeing twelve roomy month columns matters more than keeping to a standard paper format. Measure first; guessing at poster scale is how light switches end up inside January.
